Navratri 2020 will not be celebrated in the usual way this year due to the Covid19 pandemic. We’re extremely disappointed that we can’t come together this year at the mandir, but we will try our very best to bring the mandir into your homes.

The following events will be streamed live on Facebook. Remember to log in to your accounts and be ready 5 minutes before the start time:

Sthapna – Sat 17th Oct 2020 8.30am to 9.30am.
Navratri Aarti – Every evening throughout Navratri from 7.30pm to 7.45pm.

To watch a livestream, go to or visit our Facebook page and you should be able to see the stream.

The mandir only opens to the public on Saturday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for those devotees who wish to attend. Please remember not to bring any offerings, flowers, chundris, etc. We cannot accept any items from you and nobody will be able to touch Mataji this year. Darshan will be from a few feet away, behind a barrier.

For those who wish to make a donation this year, but cannot attend the mandir, you can do so by direct:

Bank: Santander
Sort Code: 09 01 55
Account number: 53128604
Account name: South East Hindu Association

We will not be performing any raas-garba via livestream. Whilst we all enjoy the fun of playing, many have lost their lives around the world this year, and many more are suffering hardship. This year, we’re asking our devotees to pray with their families instead. These are testing times for us all and only our merciful goddess can give us the strength and protection we all need.

Please stay safe and we hope to be in a position to welcome you to the mandir soon.

Jay Mata Di!
