Please find below key dates for our Diwali prayers and celebrations this year.
Monday 24th October 2022 at 7.30pm – Chopda Pujan
We will be holding Chopda Pujan in our usual fashion at the mandir. Please ensure you bring all your puja items from home, and arrive by 7.15pm for seating and a prompt start. Please do not arrive late or you will miss the start of the puja. A list of items required for puja is shown at the bottom of this page.
Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Temple closed all day
Please do not attend the temple on Tuesday as entry to the public will be strictly prohibited due to the solar eclipse. Normal prayers will be completed by our pujari but the public will not be able to attend.
Wednesday 26th October 2022 – Ankut
The mandir will be open from 6am for Ankut darshan. Ankut Aarti will be at midday, and prashad will be distributed thereafter. If you’re arriving early, please have due consideration for local residents and keep noise to a minimum.
We wish all our devotees all the very best for Diwali, and for the forthcoming New Year.
