Celebrating 50 Years of South East Hindu Association

Festival of Unity and Devotion

The South East Hindu Association proudly announces its Golden Jubilee Celebration, marking 50 years of service, spirituality, and community in the South East London region. This historic milestone will be honoured with a year-long celebration beginning on Maha Shivratri 2026 and concluding on Vasant Panchami 2027.

For five decades, our association has been a pillar of culture, faith, and togetherness. As we step into our next chapter, we invite the entire community to join us in a journey of devotion, unity, and collective celebration.

A Brief History of the South East Hindu Association

Established in 1976, the South East Hindu Association (SEHA) began with a small group of dedicated families who wished to preserve Hindu faith, culture, and values within the growing community of South East London. What started in modest community halls and shared spaces soon grew into a vibrant organisation known for its inclusive spirit, cultural richness, and commitment to Hindu traditions.

Today, SEHA stands as a testament to 50 years of collective effort, devotion, and community leadership, proudly serving generations of families and inspiring future ones.
